FFR Sees 2,000 Robot Shipments in 2026 as Faraday Deal Closes

The Nasdaq-listed robotics company completes its acquisition of Faraday Future's robotics business and expects more than 300 sales and shipments in October.

LOS ANGELES -- FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem Inc. (FFR) predicts sales and shipments of nearly 2,000 robots in 2026, as the firm starts its operations through the acquisition of the robotics segment of Faraday Future.

In addition, the company predicts October sales and shipments to be higher than 300 robots, resulting in the firm's cumulative total of sales and shipments exceeding 1,100 robots by the end of the month. FFR says that the firm has been delivering robots at positive unit gross margins, although these numbers are yet to be verified independently.

Faraday Future declared on Oct. 26 that the FFR (Nasdaq: FFR) had successfully completed its acquisition of the robotics business of Faraday Future, creating a separate entity for robotics operation.

The deal involves the transfer of the robotics business and other related assets of Faraday Future to FFR, while the Faraday Future is continuing to trade on Nasdaq under the symbol FFAI.

Based on the October 12 agreement, the companies estimated the value of the robotics business of Faraday Future to be about $200 million and the value of FFR at around $60 million on a fully diluted basis.
The full- year guidance pertains to the robotics acquisitions for the entire calendar year of 2026, including the period prior to the acquisition date. The guidance is not indicative of the consolidated financial performance of FFR because of the Oct. 23 closing of the transaction.

FFR specializes in humanoid robots and other types of robots. It has developed the technology that involves AI software and service.

After the acquisition, YT Jia became the CEO of FFR while retaining the same role as CEO of Faraday Future. Jerry Wang became the executive chairman of FFR, and Chen Shi became the lead independent director.

FFR has not revealed how many of the robots shipped have been used for commercial purposes. FFR's October and annual estimates are still company estimates and not actual sales figures.
