At the recently concluded Davos Tech Summit 2026, commercial service robotics manufacturer Pudu Robotics showcased how autonomous robots create real operational value.

According to a press release, the Shenzhen, China-headquartered company deployed four robots—PUDU CC1 Pro, FlashBot Max, BellaBot Pro, and PUDU MT1 Max—across three operational locations in Davos, Switzerland, demonstrating how embodied intelligence is already delivering measurable value in everyday business scenarios.

Floor cleaning with precision

PUDU CC1 Pro did autonomous floor cleaning at a SPAR Supermarket during normal business hours, navigating customer traffic, shelving layouts, and changing aisle conditions.

According to the manufacturer, PUDU CC1 Pro combines vision, LiDAR, and AI perception to plan routes while continuously evaluating cleaning results. The robot’s rear AI camera can detect residual stains after cleaning and automatically perform targeted re-cleaning, allowing it to verify task completion rather than simply execute a predefined route.

Hotel services with ease

For hotel services, robots need to coordinate multiple interconnected tasks—from picking up orders and interacting with guests to accessing the elevator with ease—all while adapting to a changing landscape and unexpected workflow modifications.

At Hilton Davos, Pudu’s BellaBot Pro welcomed guests and delivered food and beverages through autonomous navigation and multimodal interaction. Meanwhile, FlashBot Max integrated with the building’s elevator system to autonomously deliver supplies between floors.

Cleaning in public spaces

At the Davos train station plaza, PUDU MT1 Max autonomously cleaned outdoor and semi-outdoor public spaces by leveraging 3D perception, LiDAR, and multi-sensor fusion. The robot safely navigated crowded environments while adapting to moving pedestrians and changing surroundings.

Its IP54 protection rating and active rain avoidance further enhanced operational reliability in outdoor conditions, the company highlighted.

Software powering Pudu robots

Pudu created a unified embodied AI architecture centred on its proprietary PuduFM foundation model and PuduAgent general-purpose agent platform, rather than developing isolated intelligence stacks for individual product lines.

This shared intelligence, according to the company, enables robots with different categories—including service delivery, commercial cleaning, industrial delivery, and general embodied AI—to share a common cognitive framework for environmental perception, task execution, and multi-agent collaboration.

This architecture, the company said, reduces deployment complexity, improves fleet coordination, and accelerates localisation across international markets, providing customers with scalable automation solutions rather than standalone robotic devices.

This is reflected in Pudu’s latest deal in June, where the company and its regional partner Robobee partnered with Swiss retailer Denner to deploy 200 PUDU CC1 cleaning robots across its store network to help improve operational efficiency through human-robot collaboration.

As of 2026, Pudu Robotics claims to have delivered over 130,000 robots globally, serving customers in more than 85 countries. Its overseas markets contribute more than 80% of its total revenue.
